Death of a Well-Known G.A.R. Man
Woodstock, ILL—Sept. 5—Capt. John Eddy, of Coral, was addressing the old soldiers at the reunion of the Ninety-fifth Regiment of Illinois veterans at Marengo yesterday when he suddenly fell dead.  He was born in England in 1821, and came to this country in 1837.  He served three years in the civil war as captain of Company E, Ninety-fifth Illinois Infantry.  Elaborate funeral services will be held under the auspices of the Grand Army of the Republic.
